Ceviche al Estilo Colombiano is a refreshing and flavorful dish that is perfect for a hot summer day. This Colombian-style ceviche is made with fresh fish, lime juice, and a mix of colorful vegetables, creating a dish that is both light and satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh white fish, such as sea bass or flounder, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Crackers or tortilla chips (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a large glass or ceramic bowl, combine the fish and lime juice. Make sure the fish is fully submerged in the lime juice. Cover and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and "cooked" by the lime juice.

- Refrigerate the ceviche for an additional 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the ceviche in individual bowls, topped with diced avocado if desired. Accompany with crackers or tortilla chips.
