Cha Pla Muk (stir-fried Squid With Vegetables)

Ingredients
- 1 lb squid, cleaned and sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the squid and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it is just cooked through. Remove the squid from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the onion, bell pepper, and carrot until they are slightly softened.
- Add the minced garlic and continue to stir-fry for another minute.
- Return the cooked squid to the wok.
- Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
