Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add the garlic and onion. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the green beans and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Return the beef to the wok and add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in the water and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and green beans.
  7. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
