Ingredients
- 2 cups jackfruit seeds, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add curry leaves, chopped onion, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the sliced jackfruit seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the jackfruit seeds are tender and cooked through.
- Once done, remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish.
