Chami (Stir-Fried Noodles with Meat and Vegetables)

Ingredients

  • 250g egg noodles
  • 200g pork, thinly sliced
  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a wok or large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
  3. Add the pork and cook until no longer pink. Then, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  4. Toss in the cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked egg noodles to the wok. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the stir-fried noodles with meat and vegetables to a serving dish and serve hot.
