Chamorro Bbq Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork ribs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, garlic, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Place the pork ribs in a large baking dish and pour the marinade over the ribs, making sure they are fully coated.
  4. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
  5. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Baste the ribs with the cooking juices and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
