Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 20 lumpia wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, green onions, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the soy sauce and black pepper. Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
- Place a spoonful of the beef filling onto a lumpia wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the cooked lumpia and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
