Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup snow peas, trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and chicken broth. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp to the wok and stir-fry until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add snow peas to the wok and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture into the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
