Ingredients
- 1 pound beef, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with oyster sauce, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Pour in the water and continue to stir-fry for another minute, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then transfer to a serving dish.
