Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 1 lb Chinese broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the beef until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the wok. Add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the Chinese broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the wok. Add oyster sauce and water. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
