Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the prawns and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Add the asparagus, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot with steamed rice.
