Ingredients

  • 2 lotus roots, peeled and sliced
  • 100g ground pork
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stuff the lotus root slices with the pork mixture.
  3. Dust the stuffed lotus root slices with cornstarch.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the stuffed lotus root slices in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
