Ingredients

  • 300g squid, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the squid and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it turns opaque.
  4. Add the bell peppers, carrot, and onion. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Stir in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
