Chapli Kabab Roll
Chapli Kabab Roll is a popular street food in Pakistan, featuring flavorful minced meat kababs wrapped in a paratha with fresh vegetables and chutneys. It's a delicious and satisfying meal that can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 4 parathas (flatbread)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup mint chutney
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together minced beef, onion, tomatoes, coriander, mint, green chilies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, red chili flakes, garam masala, salt, and egg. Mix well and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat round kababs.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the kababs for 6-8 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
- Warm the parathas on a separate pan or griddle.
- Spread a spoonful of yogurt on each paratha, place a kabab in the center, and add cucumber slices.
- Drizzle tamarind chutney and mint chutney on top, then roll up the paratha tightly.
- Serve the Chapli Kabab Rolls hot with extra chutney on the side.
