Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, onion, tomatoes, green chilies, cilantro, mint, coriander, cumin, red chili powder, black pepper, salt, and egg.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into flat, round patties.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the kebabs in the hot oil until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the kebabs from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with naan bread, yogurt sauce, and salad.
