Chashushuli Magic (ჩაშუშული)
ჩაშუშული (Chashushuli) is a traditional Georgian stew that is bursting with flavor and warmth. This hearty dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a gathering with friends.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef, cubed
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp marigold petals
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the beef over medium heat.
- Add the onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the tomato paste, paprika, coriander, marigold petals, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let the stew simmer for 1 hour.
- Once the beef is tender and the flavors have melded, remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
