Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 500g store-bought puff pastry
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles using a round cutter.
  3. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto one half of each pastry circle.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling to create a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the chebureki in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
