Cheerio Bars
These homemade cheerio bars are a delicious and easy-to-make snack that's perfect for breakfast or a midday pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cheerios
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the cheerios and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the honey and peanut butter over medium heat until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture over the cheerios and stir until well coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch pan and let it cool for 1 hour.
- Cut into bars and enjoy!
