Ingredients
- 500g bread flour
- 10g instant yeast
- 10g salt
- 300ml warm water
- 200g grated Gruyère cheese
- 50g butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the bread flour, instant yeast, and salt. Gradually add the warm water and knead the dough until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the long side. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the cheese bread cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
