Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Stir in the sour cream until the dough starts to come together. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the feta cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, and chopped dill until well combined.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place it in a greased pie dish.
  5. Pour the cheese filling into the pie crust and spread it out evenly. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, leaving the center open.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
