Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup chopped dill
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the sour cream until the dough starts to come together. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together the feta cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, and chopped dill until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place it in a greased pie dish.
- Pour the cheese filling into the pie crust and spread it out evenly. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, leaving the center open.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
