Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf
This cheese stuffed meatloaf is a delicious and comforting dish that is perfect for a family dinner or a special occasion.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- Place half of the meat mixture into a loaf pan, then press the cheddar cheese cubes into the center.
- Cover the cheese with the remaining meat mixture, pressing the edges to seal.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
