Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place half of the meat mixture into a loaf pan, then press the cheddar cheese cubes into the center.
  4. Cover the cheese with the remaining meat mixture, pressing the edges to seal.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
