Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the ketchup and mustard, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Split the hoagie rolls and place a slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom of each roll.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the rolls and top with another slice of cheddar cheese.
- Place the subs on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
