Cheesecake Factory Brown Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup molasses

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, buttermilk, and molasses.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
