Ingredients
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- Few curry leaves
Instructions
- Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the marinated prawns to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until the prawns are cooked through.
- Once the prawns are cooked, increase the heat to high and fry for 2-3 minutes until the prawns turn slightly crispy.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
