Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- Butter, for greasing the tart pan
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch tart pan with butter.
- Arrange the pitted cherries in a single layer in the tart pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour and salt, and whisk until the batter is smooth.
