Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 cup grated yak cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- Water for kneading
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead the dough until it is smooth. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped spinach, grated yak cheese, cumin powder, and red chili powder to create the stuffing.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle. Place a spoonful of the spinach and cheese stuffing in the center of each circle. Fold the edges of the dough to enclose the filling and roll it out into a paratha.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each paratha with a little oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Repeat the process for the remaining dough and stuffing to make more parathas.
