Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, cut into cubes
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the diced onion, peanut butter, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, ginger, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated beef onto the skewers.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Serve the chichinga hot and enjoy!
