Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef or chicken, cut into chunks
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons groundnut (peanut) paste
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 4-6 skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, vegetable oil, groundnut paste, cayenne pepper, paprika, ground coriander, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the meat chunks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread the marinated meat onto skewers, then grill over medium-high heat for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and has a nice char.
