Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook them in a large pot until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook until tender.
- Shred the cooked chicken and add it back to the pot along with the frozen peas and heavy cream. Cook for a few more minutes until everything is heated through.
- Season with more salt and pepper if needed, then serve hot.
