Chicken And Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: salsa, sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and half of the spice mixture. Cook until the chicken is cooked through, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet. Add the steak and the remaining spice mixture. Cook until the steak is browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the chicken and steak to the skillet with the peppers and onions, and toss to combine.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
  7. Divide the chicken and steak mixture among the warm tortillas.
  8. Serve the fajitas with your choice of toppings.
