Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry (Sikin na Wara Wara Stir-Frai)

Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry (Sikin na Wara Wara Stir-Frai)

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same wok. Add the onion, bell peppers, snow peas, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the wok and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the wok and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and serve the Sikin na Wara Wara Stir-Frai hot with steamed rice.
