Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup beer
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken pieces and brown them on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the onions and garlic until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they start to break down.
- Pour in the beer and bring to a simmer.
- Return the browned chicken pieces to the pot and cover. Let it simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed and serve hot.
