Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon clove powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1 cup fresh coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 4-5 green chilies
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ginger-garlic paste, vinegar, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, cinnamon powder, clove powder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, and salt to form a marinade.
- Marinate the chicken legs in the prepared mixture and let it sit for 1 hour.
- In a blender, combine fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, and lemon juice to make a smooth green paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken legs until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once the chicken is cooked, spread the green paste over the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Chicken Cafreal is ready to be served hot with steamed rice or bread.
