Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup (120ml) yogurt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
