Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 4-5 tablespoons mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- Water for kneading
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for a few minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium heat until the oil separates and the chicken is tender.
- Meanwhile, prepare the luchi by kneading the flour with water to form a smooth dough. Divide the dough into small balls and roll out into flat discs. Deep fry in hot oil until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve the hot chicken curry with the crispy luchi.
