Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 large onion, finely chopped

- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, ground cashews, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garam masala, and chili powder. Add the chicken pieces to the mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for 30 minutes.

- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the water, cover the pan, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
