Chicken Malai Tikka

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup hung curd (thick yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Skewers for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix hung curd, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to form a smooth marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers and heat oil in a pan.
  4. Grill the chicken skewers on the stovetop, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a golden crust.
  5. Serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings.
