Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are half done.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and curry leaves. Cook until the chicken is tender and the masala is well coated.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
