Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5g) ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon (5g) ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup (60ml) coconut milk
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, turmeric, coriander, cumin, cayenne pepper, and coconut milk to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve the chicken satay with peanut sauce and enjoy!
