Chicken Seekh Kebab

Ingredients

  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the minced chicken, onion, green chilies, fresh coriander, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  2. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Divide the chicken mixture into equal portions and form each portion onto skewers, shaping them into long kebabs.
  5. Brush the kebabs with vegetable oil and place them on the grill.
  6. Grill the kebabs for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney and naan bread.
