Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 8 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chicken, onion, carrots, potatoes, tomato, garlic, turmeric, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.

  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the soup simmer for 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  4. Skim off any foam that rises to the surface during cooking.

  6. Return the shredded chicken to the pot and stir to combine.
