Chicken Sukka

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken pieces, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the chicken is tender.
  5. Add red chili powder and garam masala, mix well.
  6. Add grated coconut and cook for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
