Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups bok choy, chopped
- 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Place a small spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper over the filling to create a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add the bok choy and shiitake mushrooms, then gently drop the wontons into the broth.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the wontons are cooked through and the bok choy is tender.
- Serve the chicken wonton soup hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
