Ingredients
- 2 kg fresh crab
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 in ginger, grated
- 4-5 red chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Clean and prepare the fresh crab by removing the top shell and gills. Cut the crab into pieces.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the crab pieces to the wok and stir-fry for a few minutes until they turn red.
- Stir in tomato ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Mix well and let the crab simmer in the sauce until fully cooked.
- Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped spring onions.
