Ingredients

  • 2 whole crabs, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 spring onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and red chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  2. Add crab pieces to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour in tomato ketchup, chili sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and chicken stock. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cover the wok and let the crab cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the shells turn red and the meat is cooked through.
  5. Slowly pour in the beaten egg while stirring the crab mixture gently to create a silky texture.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
