Ingredients
- 2 whole crabs, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 spring onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and red chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add crab pieces to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in tomato ketchup, chili sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and chicken stock. Stir well to combine.
- Cover the wok and let the crab cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the shells turn red and the meat is cooked through.
- Slowly pour in the beaten egg while stirring the crab mixture gently to create a silky texture.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
