Chili Garlic Noodles (La Jiao Suàn Mian)

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) Chinese wheat noodles
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar to the pan. Stir well.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss to coat them with the sauce.
  5. Season with salt and garnish with chopped green onions.
