Chili Garlic Tofu (La Jiao Suàn Dou Fu)

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
