Chilis Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (14 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer the chili for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Adjust the seasoning to taste before serving.
