Chimi Hamburguesa (chimi Burger)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 4 slices of onion

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired doneness.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce to make the slaw.
  4. Toast the burger buns in the skillet for a minute or until they are lightly browned.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, topping with the cabbage slaw, a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion. Add the top half of the bun and serve.
