Ingredients

  • 4 Chinese sausages (lap cheong)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Soak the Chinese sausages in hot water for 10 minutes to soften them.
  2. Remove the sausages from the water and slice them diagonally into thin pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce and sugar together.
  4. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the sliced sausages to the pan and cook until they are slightly browned.
  6. Pour the soy sauce and sugar mixture over the sausages and stir to coat evenly.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sausages are caramelized.
  8. Remove from heat and serve the Chinese sausages hot.
